Winning Los Angeles Mayoral Campaign uses Innovative Online Strategy and Tools to Raise Money and Mobilize Voters

CA – July 7, 2005 - Antonio Villaraigosa’s winning campaign for Los
Angeles mayor received online tactical support from a unique
collaboration between a strategic consulting firm and an Internet
services company. Blackrock Associates and GetActive Software combined
forces to help the Villaraigosa mayoral campaign reach hundreds of
thousands of Los Angeles voters with targeted, relevant communications
by web and email - and raise over $150,000 online.
"The Villaraigosa campaign was truly a 21st-century campaign, spanning

outreach.
